Regardless of your faith and in our unprecedented times, I hope that the above provides inspiration. Personally, these phrases have had a significant impact. They have inspirited me!
I selected these specific images from my portfolio as I believe that they best reflect Faith… Hope… Love.
I hope you are staying well and safe. Life has changed and we do not know what tomorrow will bring. I do appreciate but do not understand your circumstances. Let me share my personal wake-up call. It was December 1985 when Pauline, my life partner and soulmate, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Our lives changed forever, and now we were looking through a different set of eyes. By the Fall 1990, the MS progressed to the point that Pauline was now confined to a wheelchair or bed. We never allowed MS to define us.
My message, “Let us not allow Covid-19 to define us”!
The artworld has changed with physical art fairs being canceled or postponed. To maintain connection to collectors, these fairs have created online fairs.
Personally, I have not been able to create new artwork as my darkroom facility has been closed. However, I have taken this time to adapt to the new environment by increasing my digital footprint. In this newsletter, I would like to share with you:
- Magazine Feature – “My personal journey”
- Launch of Blog – Spirit of Analog Art
- Exhibition – Gay Gardens
- Gallery Representation
Since the lockdown, I have increased my posting activity to Instagram / Twitter. The posts include:
- Announcements of competition results.
- Curation of themed exhibitions with individual images presented over 2 to 5 days. Themed exhibitions included “Welcome to Spring”, “Portraits in Nature”, “Mother’s Day”, etc.
- Other announcements.
To view the posts, click on the Instagram or Twitter icon. At the same time, please join my community and follow me.
It is easy to connect as you can post a comment on my blog or Instagram or Twitter. The other option is to send an email. As always, I look forward to hearing from you.
Stay well! Stay healthy!
Cheers,
Dale
