This 15th edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers has been juried by Elizabeth Avedon. A total of 910 photographers from 63 countries have submitted 6,875 photographs for consideration of the pre-selection team of the Worldwide Photography Gala Awards and the final selection of the juror.
FEAST explores the intimate connection & cultural obsession with food. The images capture the initial steps as we grasp the food in anticipation of preparation. The lack of color reveal textures & raw form which is often forgotten upon consumption.
The FEAST images were selected from a series of eleven unique limited edition black and white film photographic prints (silver gelatin artist prints).
